Klickfix Xtra Rail: the solution to attach panniers to any bike rack

The Klickfix Xtra bar provides a second level of attachment for racks that are not equipped with a double rail. Adding this extra bar allows you to mount a side pannier in addition to a top case, a box, or any other substantial load on the rack. It therefore increases your bike’s carrying capacity.

This solution also makes it easier to combine panniers with a child seat, as it allows the pannier to be set further back beyond the usual limits of the rack.

Made of aluminum, the Klickfix Xtra Rail and its mounts combine lightness and strength. The maximum supported weight is 10 kg.

How does the Klickfix Xtra Rail work?

Adjustable in both height and length, this versatile crossbar adapts to most rack models. Its universal mounts can be rotated and slid to fit the tube’s angle and distance.

Two sets of screws are included: 4 short screws for tubes with a diameter of 8 to 11 mm, and 4 long screws compatible with tubes with a diameter of 12 to 16 mm.

Thanks to its sliding clamps, the rail can be adjusted up to a maximum width of 305 mm. It can also be shortened if necessary.

With a diameter of 10 mm, the Klickfix Xtra Rail is compatible with many bicycle panniers. The Bakkie Evo or Bakkie Light Evo panniers can be quickly attached thanks to their fastening loops. This allows you to move your panniers further back on the bike by creating an additional mounting point at the rear of the rack.
