Whether for the Bakkie or the Bakkie Light, the clip-on buckles on our bike panniers enable them to be fitted to any type of luggage rack, whatever the diameter of the tubes. 3 straps of different sizes are also included to adapt to any situation!


Our models can also be attached to the body of a two-wheeler or three-wheeler as a cargo bike bag, to the extended luggage rack of a longtail, or to the handlebars of a folding bike. Whether you're looking for an electric or muscle bike pannier, we've got you covered!

Bakkie pannier or Bakkie Light pannier: which one to choose?

Looking to carry everyday essentials by bike or store gear in a closed bag? Go for the Bakkie pannier! It includes a 15-litre waterproof bag that can also be rolled up to free up more space in the open carrier. The carrier itself is adjustable and padded so you can carry bulky or fragile loads safely. You can take your Bakkie with you by hand using its integrated carrying handle, or over the shoulder with the longest of the included straps.

If you mainly want to tow a bike or transport an unusual item (parcel, pushchair, suitcase, musical instrument…) without needing to store things in a closed bag, the Bakkie Light pannier is for you! This minimal design allows maximum loading. It features the same open, adjustable carrier as the Bakkie, without the closed storage bag or integrated carrying handle.

Its slim profile also makes it easy to share the luggage rack — you can attach another hook-on bag without removing it.

Finally, thanks to its low profile, the Bakkie Light also works more easily when a baby or child seat is fitted to the luggage rack.

The "Evo" label refers to the new versions of the Bakkie and Bakkie Light panniers manufactured from March 2023 onwards, replacing the previous models. They include new features.
