The multifunction Bakkie support allows you to securely attach various objects, even quitebulkys, to the rear luggage rack of your bike. when it is unexpected. Adjustable, it can adapt to objects of different sizes and shapes. Three straps provided can be clipped onto the support at several points for great freedom in loading the bike. A few strap adjustments and your load is secured.

TOW A BIKE
The Bakkies were initially designed for towing children's bikes up to 24''.
With a little technicality and with preliminary tests to ensure that we are comfortable and safe, it is also possible to tow larger bikes. One or two straps Fixplus are sometimes necessary for towing adult bicycles.

Yes, you will receive your Bakkie or Bakkie light with 3 straps (40, 60 and 90 cm) stored in their pocket (under the reflective logo).
To differentiate them the stitching is in different colors .

From 20 inches upwards, no problem. Below that, as on a Brompton, they're likely to rub the ground at the slightest bend.
In this case, however, it's possible to install them on the handlebars, as they are very high in relation to the wheel. Be careful with the load in this case: when the front of the bike is made heavier and the load turns with the handlebars (as with a handlebar-mounted bicycle basket), this changes the bike's behavior, so test beforehand and be careful!

Transporting your guitar by bike in its case or case is easy with Bakkies bags. The guitar is placed vertically in the support, a strap presses the body against the bike in the lower part, another supports the neck in the upper part.
The padding of the support prevents any bolts or protruding parts from being punched of the luggage rack on the instrument body.

By default there is no system to keep the bag pressed against the luggage rack for two reasons:
- The support of the bag is made up of two layers of fabric which enclose a foam board. This padding protects your fragile cargo from aggressive parts of the luggage rack (a guitar body for example) and avoids the noise it could generate by hitting the luggage rack. Nothing serious if the bag moves a little away from the bike on a small impact, so it happens silently!
- The additional straps provided allow this to be done if necessary, in the case of a very high object which could tip over the luggage rack for example.
However, a chain of straps on the bike side support allows you to add a Velcro type fastener, colson collar or other, to pass through the uprights of the luggage rack.
