STECO Power Safety: A Rear Rack Designed for Heavy Loads

With a maximum load capacity of 35 kg (well above average!), the STECO Power Safety rear rack is particularly suitable for carrying a child seat for babies or juniors (such as the Guppy Polisport Junior, Urban Iki Junior, Bobike One Junior, Qibbel, or Yepp Junior) and its young passenger.

Its particularly rearward position provides extra space for the child and any cargo. Additionally, a FixPlus rack strap can be used to secure belongings quickly and easily.

This STECO rack is perfect for fully utilizing the potential of Bakkie or Bakkie Light bike bags and transporting various items that might otherwise require a trailer or cargo bike.

Compliant with the European standard EN 14872, it offers exceptional durability and stability thanks to premium 16 mm steel tubes. The platform measures 13 cm in width and 42 cm in length, while the rack's height is 40 cm.

Easy Installation of the STECO Power Safety Rear Rack

The STECO Power Safety rear rack is compatible with bikes from 26 to 28 inches and can be easily installed on most bicycles, either at the frame or at the seat stays. The assembly manual (see photo) details both installation options.

The mounting kit included with the rack contains:

• 4 screws
• 4 nuts
• 8 washers
• A metal plate for frame eyelet mounting
• 2 rods of different lengths (8.2 cm and 15.2 cm)

If the mounting rods are too short for the lower frame mounting of your bike, we recommend using a Tubus or Racktime mounting kit with the required length (240 mm or 350 mm).

The STECO Power Safety rack also includes the option to add a rear light or reflector: the designated area has holes for screws with a spacing of 38 to 89 mm.
