The bicycle center stand

The center stand, whether single (i.e. lateral) or double, is fixed to the center of the bike: if your bike has a stand support between the frame chainstays, at bottom bracket level, then this is the one you need! If your bike doesn't have a stand, but has pre-drilled mounting holes in the same central position, you'll need to add the supplied counterplate. The center stand is particularly popular for its stability.

The double stand

The double stand is particularly well-suited to heavy bikes: mail or courier bikes, cargo bikes, mama bikes, tandems or transport bikes. It's also ideal for a loaded bike, whether classic or electric: its fork easily supports heavy loads on the rack and in the panniers, as well as a child's seat. The Ursus Jumbo 80 double stand can carry up to 100 kg! Its stability makes it easy to load children or equipment.

The single stand or side stand

The single center stand, also known as the side stand because of its side positioning, rests on a single foot. Its advantage: lightness!

For folding bikes or wheel sizes from 16 to 24 inches, the URSUS King Mini 78 is the benchmark side-mounted center stand. Lightweight yet sturdy, the URSUS King Evo 78 center stand supports a load of up to 40 kg and is suitable for 3 wheel sizes: 24“, 26” and 28”.

URSUS Kaiser 69 is the strongest side-mounted center stand, capable of supporting up to 55 kg for a 26 or 28-inch bike. It makes an excellent stand for heavy bikes, and is ideal for city bikes, electric bikes or loaded touring bikes carrying children or equipment.

For wheel sizes equal to or larger than 27.5“, 28” and 29”, the URSUS King Evo XL stand extends to a greater height.

The rear stand

When your bike is equipped with pre-drilled mounting points on the left-hand chainstay, at the level of the rear wheel, you can choose a rear stand. This must be side-mounted.

The URSUS King Evo Rear Stand R78 is suitable for bikes with a wheel size of 24“, 26” or 28”. For wheel sizes of 27.5“, 28” or 29”, the extra-long URSUS King Evo Rear XL is more suitable.

These two models are available in 2 variants, 18 mm or 40 mm, depending on the center distance of your bike (the distance between the mounting holes, see below).
