At Bakkie, we rely on local expertise and committed partners to offer bags that are sturdy, practical, and environmentally responsible.

Our bags are:

  • Entirely manufactured in the North, in the heart of a historic textile region;
  • designed in Charente-Maritime;
  • equipped with straps manufactured on site;
  • equipped with plastic buckles made in Europe, chosen for their strength and durability.
  • Only the fabric still comes from a supplier outside the EU, but we are actively working on a 100% European solution.

Want to carry everyday items on your bike or store equipment in a closed bag? Choose the Bakkie bag! It includes a waterproof bag with a volume of 15 liters, which can also be rolled up to free up more space.

Want to carry everyday items on your bike or store equipment in a closed bag? Choose the Bakkie bag! It features a 15-liter waterproof bag that can also be rolled up to free up more space in the open carrier. The carrier is adjustable and padded, allowing you to carry bulky or fragile items while protecting them. You can carry your Bakkie by hand using its integrated carrying handle, or over your shoulder using the largest of the straps provided.

 If you want to tow a bike or transport an unusual item (parcel, stroller, suitcase, musical instrument, etc.) without having to store your belongings in a closed bag, the Bakkie Light bag is for you! This minimalist model allows for maximum loading. It features the same open support as the Bakkie, without a closed storage bag or integrated carrying handle.

Sharing, it allows you to attach another hook-on bag to the luggage rack without having to remove it.


 Finally, thanks to its slim design, the Bakkie Light bag is also easy to use when a baby or child seat is installed on the luggage rack.


 The term "Evo" refers to the new versions of the Bakkie and Bakkie Light bags manufactured from March 2023 onwards, replacing the old models. They include new features.
